Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
