The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Warriors Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a gripping narrative including celestial beings, demons, and malevolent powers expanding in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Spoilers for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The latest chapter finished on a huge suspense moment and presented the initial group of heroes who will split off from the central cast to embark on their independent quest, apart from the other two tables.

The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before splitting into three distinct groups: Fighters, Planners, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for players who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where non-violent answers are rare.

Initially, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might look mismatched, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these specific adventurers are best suited for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the party knows exactly where to head next after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing started the narrative’s action—manipulated the enemy for his own means, entering the secret base, striking the character, and swiping all the enchanted items to dispose of.

The traitor then paid off his obligations and fled to a secure base in the remote area, beyond the city, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows Timmony and advises that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their position as important members in House Halovar could enable the team reach areas they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character vowed a life debt to The savior for his salvation and will now accompany him anywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are sought by the powers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The rogue and The hero are known criminals.
  • The warrior and Wicander defied House Halovar and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward Timmony in search of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

According to the latest episode’s Cooldown, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Explorers and Schemers tables.

Audiences can look forward to finding out which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, released on next week.
